Based in Accra, Ghana, Accra Lions has developed a model with a strong focus on young players and their progression. The club's football infrastructure includes the Frank Opoku Acheampong Training Center in Abokobi, combining training pitches with accommodation, classrooms, fitness and administrative facilities.

According to the club's current governance structure, Oliver König serves as Chairman, with Lothar Matthäus and Frank Opoku Acheampong alongside him on the Board of Directors. Frank Opoku Acheampong also serves as Vice Chairman, while Nana Obiri Yeboah Lewis is CEO and James Nicholas Francis is Academy Director.

Accra Lions and the Importance of Football Development
